Raoul began his En plein air series in May 2024 where he was able to produce works from beyond the studio, adding a new diemention to his work. Although more modernistic than impressionistic, Raoul aims at capturing the colours of the natural world while implementing his style of collage and digital cut-out effects to En plein air painting. The series is a sharp contrast to the time consuming effort made in his recent works which last for months.
